SERVICE AGREEMENT

Team Rise Pte. Ltd is a company registered in Singapore (UEN No. 202136643R) and owns and operates the online platform “Slashie” at www.slashie.sg (“Platform”). Through Slashie, end-users can connect with mentors and book mentoring sessions, classes, camps, conferences, seminars, workshops, and other educational offerings.

By using the Platform or any Slashie services—whether directly, indirectly, via a mobile device, email, phone, or in person—you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood, and accepted these Terms of Use. Team Rise may update these Terms periodically, so please check back regularly.

A. General Terms

  1. Personal Use Only: The Platform is owned, operated, and provided by Team Rise for your personal, non-commercial use. You are prohibited from re-selling, deep-linking, copying, monitoring, displaying, downloading, or reproducing any content, software, products, or services available on our website for commercial or competitive purposes.

  2. Privacy Policy: The collection, use, and disclosure of any personal data submitted or collected during your use of the Platform will be governed by our Privacy Policy.

  3. Content Accuracy: All information on the Platform is based on details provided by the respective Education Providers, Mentors, and Coaches, who are responsible for updating their offerings. Team Rise does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or correctness of this information.

  4. Liability Disclaimer: While Team Rise strives to ensure the accuracy and quality of its services, we are not liable for errors (including typographical), interruptions, inaccurate information, or any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. We do not endorse the quality, service level, qualifications, or ratings of any Education Provider, Mentor, or Coach.

  5. Limitations of Liability: Team Rise and its affiliates are not liable for:

    • Punitive, special, indirect, or consequential damages, loss of profits, goodwill, or other similar damages.

    • Inaccuracies or errors in descriptive information.

    • Services rendered or products offered by Education Providers or other partners.

    • Damages arising from the use or inability to use our website.

    • Personal injury, death, property damage, or other damages due to actions of Education Providers, Mentors, Coaches, or any business partners.

  6. Intellectual Property: The Platform’s software, content, and intellectual property rights are owned by Team Rise. You may not copy, distribute, or use this content or our brand without express written permission.

  7. Governing Law: These Terms and any services provided by Team Rise are governed by Singapore law. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the courts in Singapore.

  8. Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, all other provisions remain in full force. Any invalid provision shall be enforced to the fullest extent possible.

B. Platform Booking Policy

  1. Booking Agreement: Any listing on the Platform by an Education Provider, Mentor, or Coach constitutes an offer, and a completed booking is an acceptance of that offer. The booking forms a direct agreement between you and the Education Provider, Mentor, or Coach.

  2. Intermediary Role: Team Rise acts solely as an intermediary, transmitting booking details and processing payments. All reservations are subject to the Standard Booking Terms and Conditions.

  3. Cancellation & Refunds: By booking, you agree to the provider’s cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policies. Where no specific policy is provided, refunds or rescheduling will not be available. Team Rise is not liable for any refunds.

  4. Best Price Guarantee: Where the booking is under the Best Price Guarantee, you are protected under our Best Price Guarantee Policy.

  5. Payment Processing: Payments are securely processed online. Team Rise is not responsible for any tax obligations of the user or the provider.

  6. Promotions and Discounts: Any promotional codes or credits offered by Team Rise may expire if unused within the specified period and are non-refundable for cash.

  7. Communications: By booking, you agree to receive booking-related emails, promotional offers (if you consent), and review invitations after attending an offering.

  8. Best Price Listings: Listings under the Best Price Guarantee indicate the lowest or equal prices offered by the provider. If you find a lower price elsewhere, you may seek a refund of the difference from the provider.

C. Review, Ratings, and Ranking Policy

  1. User Reviews: You must be a registered user to review or rate Education Providers, Mentors, Coaches, or offerings, and you agree to comply with Team Rise’s Review, Ratings, and Ranking Policy.

  2. Purpose of Reviews: Reviews and ratings provide insights for other users and may be used by Team Rise for marketing or improvement purposes.

  3. Eligible Reviews: You may review and rate providers you or your child have interacted with, regardless of whether the interaction was through a Platform booking.

  4. Disputed Reviews: Providers may request review removal if they believe the reviewer did not have a genuine interaction. Team Rise reserves the right to adjust or remove reviews as deemed appropriate.

  5. Ranking System: Team Rise ranks providers and offerings using an automated ranking system based on multiple criteria to assist users in finding suitable offerings.

D. Campaigns, Advertisements, and Promotions

  1. Advertisements: Team Rise may run advertisements on the Platform. Any business dealings or participation in promotions with advertisers found through the Platform are solely between you and the advertiser. Team Rise is not responsible for any loss or damage from such interactions.

  2. External Links: The Platform may include links to third-party resources for user convenience. Team Rise has no control over the content of these resources and is not liable for their content or any damages arising from their use.
